This dataset contains the following files:

* [CEFR-J Vocabulary Profile (ver 1.5)](https://github.com/openlanguageprofiles/olp-en-cefrj/blob/master/cefrj-vocabulary-profile-1.5.csv) — vocabulary list annotated with CEFR-J levels
* [Octanove Vocabulary Profile C1/C2 (ver 1.0)](https://github.com/openlanguageprofiles/olp-en-cefrj/blob/master/octanove-vocabulary-profile-c1c2-1.0.csv) — vocabulary list annotated with CEFR-J levels (for C1/C2 levels), created by [Octanove Labs](http://www.octanove.com/)
* [CEFR-J Grammar Profile (ver 20180315)](https://github.com/openlanguageprofiles/olp-en-cefrj/blob/master/cefrj-grammar-profile-20180315.csv) — grammatical item list annotated with CEFR-J levels (and a couple other frameworks)

Note that the Grammar Profile is only partially translated from the original Japanese version. We thank the CEFR-J project for providing the dataset.

7. Adapted vocabulary dataset
The adapted vocabulary.json / curriculum.json compilation is shared under CC BY-SA 4.0, with the underlying source notices above retained. Attribution: Worday editors, Korean Wiktionary contributors, Princeton WordNet, CEFR-J/Octanove, wordfreq and ipa-dict. Reusers must retain attribution, indicate changes, and share adapted data under the same license. This notice does not relicense the native application source code or the user-supplied original HTML.
https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode

Quality scope: all 3,000 Ministry headwords have Korean editorial meanings. Additional vocabulary has a Korean editorial/Wiktionary gloss or its original English WordNet definition. Grade assignments are enrichment recommendations, not an official grade-by-grade mandatory word list. The dictionary count denotes distinct displayed headwords, not word families or repeated learning slots. All grade courses use attested CEFR-J/young-learner level evidence and Korean meanings; remaining dictionary entries have no assigned school grade. See curriculum.json for current counts.
The downloaded open-english-korean-dict was rejected and is not included in the application data due to translation errors and inconsistent source-license attribution.

8. Content review revision 1 (2026-09-08)
38 supplementary entries were replaced with manually selected WordNet headwords. Korean glosses for these replacements and four sense corrections were edited by Worday; they are not quotations or certified translations. Unused WordNet senses are omitted where a Korean gloss is displayed. This screening does not constitute a full educational or age-rating certification.

9. Level-based course revision 2 (2026-09-08)
Cambridge University Press & Assessment, Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers Wordlists, 2025 edition, used to cross-check factual single-headword level membership. Per-word source pages and file SHA-256 are recorded in data-sources/yle-level-evidence.json. No artwork, explanatory prose, sample sentences, or source PDF is redistributed. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Cambridge. This factual cross-reference does not relicense any Cambridge publication.
https://www.cambridgeenglish.org/images/506166-starters-movers-flyers-word-list-2025.pdf
YBM 2022 revised elementary English (Kim Hyeri), grades 3–6 public contents pages, consulted for lesson themes only. No textbook pages, illustrations, sentences or definitions are included. Not affiliated with or endorsed by YBM.
https://www.ybmcloud.com/prcenter/ybmtextbook?siteType=E
CEFR-J 1.5 (Tono Laboratory, TUFS; see section 4) supplies attested A1–B2 levels. Frequency orders words only within an attested level; frequency does not generate missing CEFR labels. Editorial Korean meaning corrections and added elementary headwords are recorded in scripts/data/level-meanings.txt. They are not professionally certified translations. School grades are editorial, not CEFR age equivalents.

10. Distribution access revision 3 (2026-09-08)
The bundled vocabulary.json, curriculum.json, and this notice can be exported without encryption, copy protection, or personal learning records from Settings > Data sources and permissions. The separately licensed data may be copied, modified, and redistributed under its stated open licenses; application-only restrictions do not limit those permissions. DAY11 example sentences, Korean example translations, and learning notes were newly authored for Worday in this revision, retaining the original 40 headwords and stable identifiers.
